Dear Speaking in Tongues community,

We are excited to let you know that Speaking in Tongues will be featured as part of Comcast’s cable VOD new curated series, Cinema Asian America. From January 1, 2012 – January 31, 2012, all Comcast digital cable customers will be able to access the film for $1.99/view.

Through the digital cable menu, viewers should click on the ‘On Demand’ button, and then look under the ‘Movies’ folder. There will be a ‘Movie Collections’ folder within and inside, viewers will find ‘Cinema Asian America’ and subsequently, Speaking in Tongues.

We encourage you to pass on the news to fellow family, colleagues, and friends about the film’s special one-month availability on Comcast.

Fall 2012 Registration:
Dec. 6, 2011: Registration packets available for new K-6 students
Jan. 18-24, 2012: Sibling priority registration
Jan. 25, 2012: Open registration

Registration for the 2011/2012 school year is open for children who will be 5 by Nov. 1, 2011.

Q: When is my child eligible to enter kindergarten?
For enrollment for the 2011/2012 school year, the child must be 5 by Nov. 1, 2011
For enrollment for the 2012/2013 school year, the child must be 5 by Nov. 1, 2012
For enrollment for the 2013/2014 school year, the child must be 5 by Oct. 1, 2013
For enrollment for the 2014/2015 school year, the child must be 5 by Sept. 1, 2014

Mandarin Alternative Language Program at Azevada.
The FUSD Mandarin Alternative Language Program is located at Azevada School. Students new to Fremont Unified and those interested in attending the Alternative Language program in kindergarten or first grade need to pick up a registration packet and Alternative Language form from their home school.
